On Dec 4th and 5th, 2015, Professor Changsuo Ma from the Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science, CUPL, was invited to the HKPGA Capacity Conference cum Annual General Meeting hosted in Hong Kong and gave a wonderful speech.
The Hong Kong Psychogeriatric Association (HKPGA) was founded in 1998 by a group of mental health professionals working in the field of psychogeriatric in Hong Kong. It is an affiliate organization of the International Psychogeriatric Association and is one of the member societies of the Hong Kong Federation of Medical Societies.
The conference lasted for two days, with more than twenty professionals attending and giving speeches on Psychogeriatric. Professor Ma was attended as the Chinese Mainland representative. His speech “The present Situation, Challenge and Countermeasures of Assessment of the Civil Capacity of the Older Mental Disorders in China” won highly praise of the attendance.
The conference successfully ended on Dec 5th. Professor Ma's attendance not only left a deep impression on the audience, but also pushed Psychogeriatric career more forward and arouse more attention about the aged.
